How to get 30$ Unlimited internet for AT&T smartphones!

Well as you know AT&T has a data cap now and the only data packages available is $15(200MB) & the $25(2GB) plans. The only way to get unlimited data was if you use to have unlimited data, in that case you would have been grandfathered into it.

I have found a solution into getting the unlimited data. I tried this about a month ago so it should work for everyone out there. I will try to keep this short and simple.

1. You are going to have to get a hold of a iPhone 2G (the very first iPhone), and a regular 2G phone(non smartphone)
2. Call AT&T from your smartphone (611) and tell them that you broke your smartphone and in the mean time you are going to use a non smartphone. They will ask for the imei number and you give them that.Then tell them you dont want any data at all.  
3. Take your sim out of the smartphone and from a different mobile phone call AT&T again and ask what phone is under the account.
4. Go to the AT&T store and get your sim card for the non smartphone. Also ask for a blank sim. (Certain AT&T phones will make you pay for the sim card, and some don't).
5. Go home or wherever you have your computer with internet access. 
6. Get the iPhone 2G and hook it up to the computer and open iTunes. Make sure the blank sim is in there.
7. Restore as a new phone, and then it will ask you if your an existing AT&T customer or new. Click existing AT&T customer. 
8. Then type your last four digits of your social that you used on the account, and the phone number.
9. Then it will ask you which data plan you want. Click the Unlimited data $30. (Some will say $20).
10. After it is activated, use the phone for about 15-20 mins. or just make couple phone calls, and text messages. 
11. Go back to the AT&T store and tell them you found another smartpohone to use and you what a new sim. (This step is only if you have the iPhone 4 or 4S). 
12. If you dont have that then all you have to do it switch the sim and put it in your smartphone. Then call 611 and tell them you need to switch the phone thats under your account and give them the imei number for the smartphone and then they will say that you are under the 30$ unlimited plan.
